Hey there Shifters. Sway here. I just want to update y'all on what I've been up to and what's happening here at Haven. Currently we are finishing up the final revisions to our business plan, however, we are still awaiting a decision from the town board as to what "usage" our property falls under. This may not sound like a big deal, but this decision will really affect how we move forward with Haven. Will we be an Eco-Hotel? or perhaps a sustainable campground? Each category has different rules in place and no one category fits what we are trying to do here at Haven. I hear that we are not the only ones who run into the issue when trying to start an EcoVillage. Many places petition their local government for new zoning laws built just for them which encompass the laws of a few different zones such as agricultural and multifamily dwelling. The issue is, Haven will not only be a place where people can come to live a natural lifestyle long-term, but also a place for the public to come to learn from the full-time volunteers (we're nicknaming those of us - Haven's Champions). So the ability for the public to be involved and for the town and local community of Livingston Manor to be involved in what we are doing, we must reach out with open arms.
Photo of Haven's Creek above. We are going to the town board and asking them for their help and revising our business plan to fit the needs and wants of the local community. We had one person give us doubts, but the rest of the board embraced our idea and loves what we are doing here at Haven. I am glad to say we have picked a wonderful town to plant roots in, that really cares for the environment and the local community, and we are proud to be a part of it. I am even thinking of somehow joining the board itself so that I can really participate in the shaping of this area. That being said, I am off to add more content to our website, even though my hands are slightly tied by the town zoning laws. I am looking forward to being a campsite or an ecoHotel, either way we will achieve Haven's dream, and it will be all the more powerful with the support of the local township. I am so incredibly excited for the future.
For now, even though we are not allowed to be opened to the public, I am doing private health counseling sessions with clients from around the local area, and around the country, over the phone. I am a certified plant-based nutritionist, personal trainer, natural hygienist, raw foodist, integrative nutritionist, health chef and creator of Haven's natural lifestyle health programs (to be available when Haven is open for business). Please contact me if anyone would like to be guided towards a more natural lifestyle, anywhere you are, anywhere on Earth. This reconnection to our natural lifestyle habits - and detoxification from unnatural habits - allows our bodies to become more efficient and lighter with the many processes that it performs. As our bodies undergo less stress, the natural healing processes are allowed to take place. Our cells naturally allow Tachyon energy to flow through them once more, and repair damage caused by years of abuse. This is proven science. I am accepting new clients at the moment but not many, so please send me a message if you would like your first natural lifestyle counseling session with me over the phone absolutely free. Discuss your health history, past, present, and future goals, with a certified professional NatLife Coach! I not only help sick people get better, but help healthy people experience levels of performance and vitality they never thought possible! Send me a PM today! :D
Oh P.S. Haven for Humanity has partnered with HUGS - Humans Unifying Global Solutions and is looking to partner with a few other amazing nonprofits very soon! Reaching out with open arms on many levels!
